该项目两次获得国际国会中心协会(AIPC)颁发的全球最佳会议中心奖, 成为有史以来第一个两次获得这一殊荣的项目. 并且获得了美国绿建筑 协会领先能源与环境设计(LEED)的白金认证, 成为全世界获得最高等级 绿建水准的会展中心项目. 该项目也是2010年温哥华冬奥会媒体发 布主会场。

温哥华会议中心（英语：Vancouver Convention Centre），前称温哥华会议展览中心（Vancouver Convention &Exhibition Centre），位于加拿大卑诗省温哥华市中心，是加拿大最大的会议中心之一。中心分为东西两翼，合共拥有43,340 平方米（466,500 平方英尺）的会议展览空间，并隶属卑诗省政府辖下的公营机构卑诗展览场馆公司。2010 年冬季奥运会的主新闻中心位于会议中心东翼，而国际广播中心则位于会议中心西翼。另外，为了纪念已故的温哥华奥组委主席John W. "Jack" Poole，西翼大楼对出的广场被命名为Jack Poole 广场，而户外冬奥圣火台亦设于此处。
The Vancouver Convention Centre, formerly known as theVancouver Convention & Exhibition Centre, is located in downtown Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada. It is one ofthe largest Convention centers in the country. Divided into eastand west wings, the centre has a total of 43,340 square metres(466,500 square feet) of convention and exhibition space and isowned by the British Columbia exhibition venues corporation,a public body under the British Columbia government. Themain press center for the 2010 winter Olympics is located onthe east wing of the convention center, while the international broadcasting center is located on the west wing of the conventioncenter. In addition, the square opposite the west wing was named Jack Poole square in honor of the late John w. "Jack" Poole, the chairman of the vancouver organizing committee for the Olympic Games.

温哥华会展中心的新场馆扩建计划符合领先能源与环境设计建筑评
级体系（LEED）的金牌标准，并成为环境设计与可持续发展建筑
的先驱。它拥有堪称加拿大最大的" 生态屋顶"。整个屋顶占地2.4
公顷（6 英亩），种植了来自西北地区的20 多种植物，总计约40
万棵当地花草树木（35 万棵植物、4 万株球茎、10 种本地草本植物）；
此外，该屋顶选用约6 英寸深的火山岩石、表层土壤及砾石培植植
物；拥有43 公里滴灌灌溉管道，利用排水与雨水回收系统收集水源，
用以灌溉，因而被称为" 会呼吸的屋顶"。2010 年，温哥华会展中
心将成为2010 年温哥华冬奥会及残奥会的国际媒体中心。届时，
约7,000 名注册媒体和技术人员将通过电视和广播现场报道2010
年冬奥会的盛况。
