仪征东扩新城区总占地面积约为26475 亩。新城区规划范围北端到
达真州东路的规划延长线，南端到达长江堤岸，西端毗邻仪征市老
城区，东端到达规划的幸福大道。新城区规划用地内部含有较多的
天然水系，主要有仪扬河与石桥河两条天然河流，其余若干条较窄
的河流均匀分散在规划用地内。新城区规划用地内还包括一条现有
的东西向的高等级公路（沿江公路）和一条现有的南北向的城市主
要干道（天宁大道）作为城市主轴。仪征东扩新城区重点考虑了采
用TOD 的开发模式对新城用地进行总体规划，符合城市可持续性
发展的需求。
Yizheng east expansion of the new urban area covers an area
of about 26,475 mu. The planning scope of the new urban area
reaches the extension line of zhenzhou east road in the north,
reaches the bank of the Yangtze river in the south, adjoins the old
urban area of yizheng city in the west, and reaches the planned
avenue of happiness in the east. There are many natural water
systems in the planning land of the new urban area. The wide
ones are mainly two natural rivers, yiyang river and shiqiao
river, while the other narrow rivers are evenly distributed in the
planning land. The new urban area planning land also includes an
existing east-west high grade highway (along the river road) and
an existing north-south urban main road (tianning avenue) as
the main axis of the city. The development mode of TOD is mainly
considered in the overall planning of the new urban area for the
eastward expansion of yizheng, which conforms to the demand of
sustainable urban development.
